Leaders who launched the Industry Transformation Agenda
Chelydra has been Chief Executive of BRANZ since 2013. Prior to BRANZ, Chelydra held a range of leadership roles with science and innovation organisations and also worked in the electricity supply and telecommunication industries. She is a graduate of Victoria University of Wellington, a Companion of Engineering NZ (formerly IPENZ) and Vice-Chair of the International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction (CIB).
Registered Master Builders Association (RMBA)
David is also the Chair of the Construction Safety Council. Prior to taking up his role with the RMBA, David was a Deputy Chief Executive for the Department of Building and Housing and subsequently Director of the Canterbury Recovery Programme for the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment. Going back further, David held a number of senior roles in local government.

Property Council New Zealand
Connal was Chief Executive of the Property Council NZ for nearly 15 years before his retirement in December 2018. In this role he was the industry’s principal advocate on behalf of New Zealand’s commercial, industrial, retail, property funds and multi-unit residential property owners. Prior to this he worked in the finance, housing and energy sectors and was a Parliamentary researcher. He is a Founding Member of Auckland Council's CBD Board, a member of the Board of Trustees of Alzheimers Auckland, and is a Justice of the Peace. He has a MA (Hons) in Politics from the University of Canterbury.
Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation
Warwick is the former Chief Executive of Motor Trade Association and Registered Master Builders Association. He has also held senior roles at Land Information New Zealand. He has worked in local authorities, multi-national property companies and banks. A registered valuer by profession, he is a past chair of the Valuers Registration Board and a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers and the Property Institute of NZ. Warwick holds a MBA from Henley Management College in the UK.

Matt Crockett was with Fletcher Building from July 2015 to February 2018. Matt was previously Chief Turnaround Officer at Spark New Zealand, and Chief Development Officer and Managing Director of APN News and Media’s Digital Group. Earlier he held senior roles at Telecom New Zealand. Matt resigned from Fletchers to take up a role in a global consulting industry.
